Where It All Started
Elemxy’s music journey began while he was still a student. His early experiments led to a standout track called “Mamiwater”, which gave him the confidence to pursue music more seriously. Influenced by a wide range of artists such as Burna Boy, Black Magic, and Ajebutter22, Elemxy developed a unique ear and an even more unique voice — one that reflects the struggles, rhythm, and stories of everyday Nigerian life.

Creating Vibes That Heal and Uplift
For Elemxy, music isn’t just about making hits — it’s about helping people feel good.
“I make happy and feel-good music. The world already has enough problems — I don’t want to add to that. I want to be an escape and a motivation.”
His creative process is deeply intuitive. Sometimes it begins with a rhythm he hums for his producer; other times, he simply vibes to an instrumental and lets the energy take over.
“Sometimes I hear the instrumental and just go crazy on it, depending on the vibe that day.”
He fuels his creativity by listening to beat packs and other artists’ projects, always aiming to do something different and unpredictable.

“The music business part has been more challenging than even making the music. Especially marketing and promotion — getting your sound noticed.”
Without the support of a label, Elemxy wears multiple hats: artist, marketer, financier.
“When you’re not dropping music, most people assume you’re lazy or unserious. But sometimes, it’s just the release budget. Being an indie artist with no money is like building a sandcastle under the rain.”
Still, he’s not one to quit. His biggest motivation? Seeing the growth and knowing how far he’s come.
Concrete Diobu Boy – The EP That Says It All
Elemxy’s latest project, Concrete Diobu Boy, is more than just an EP — it’s a statement. With five tracks and only one feature, the body of work is steeped in the lingua and lamba of Diobu, where he grew up.
“The EP was created to show listeners that what I’m building is no gimmick. This is real life, and the way I talk and live is part of me — I’m not forming anything.”

“I see myself around the world, touring, making music with the elites, and making money like it’s nothing.”
