There are two new categories at the 2025 MTV VMAs: Best Pop Artist and Best Country. There are also numerous first-time nominees, including Mac Miller, who is being recognized posthumously for the visual accompaniment to Balloonerism.
Lady Gaga leads the pack with 12 nominations, and she’s primarily recognized for Mayhem, “Abracadabra,” and “Die With a Smile.” with Bruno Mars, who by the way is second clinching 11 nominations.
For the second straight year, the MTV VMAs will take place at Long Island’s UBS Arena. The show airs live on CBS, beginning at 8 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time.
