Honey, reminisced about her childhood, she said; ” My childhood years were a treasure trove of experiences that paved the way for my journey into the world of radio in Port Harcourt. Growing up, I was always the storyteller in Enugu, weaving tales that captured the imagination of friends and family even as a child, I attend family occasions, get locked in on music parties, family events, it’s been a blast growing from that to this stage. Also it has taught me the power of words, the art of connection, and the joy of sharing experiences. Little did I know that those storytelling sessions and mini hangouts, artistic and talent exhibitions would evolve into hosting a radio show, where every day feels like continuing that childhood magic—creating narratives that engage, entertain, and hopefully, make a positive impact in the lives of our listeners. It’s amazing how those early years shaped my passion for connecting with others through the airwaves.
Honey’s educational journey has been an exhilarating ride through the realms of communication. Starting with my undergraduate degree in Mass Communication from Godfrey Okoye University, I delved deep into the world of media, storytelling, and connecting with audiences. Currently pursuing my Masters degree in Communications at University of Port Harcourt is an enriching experience, unlocking new perspectives, and honing her skills in understanding the intricacies of communication dynamics. Each step of her educational journey has shaped her into the storyteller and communicator she is today!
Honey’s career started off as a shadow officer in 2014 at the University’s Radio Station; GoUniRadio where she started working as a News Editor and programme presenter dedicated to lifestyle and entertainment news. She later evolved to becoming an on air personality.
As a rising star, Honey, has worked on radio, television and has made social media buzz in the light of things. She continues making a mark daily and raising the bar for both competition and younger radio hosts who look up to her to follow.
